ABOUT ME

A Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Imago Relationship Therapist

I'm Andy Dishman, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Imago Relationship Therapist based in Marietta. I have a versatile mix of academic, business, and counseling experience. Authenticity, internal wisdom and humor are three guiding tenets found in my philosophy of therapy. I infuse these tenets in my work with couples and individuals who are seeking to empower their lives.

I received my Bachelor of Science from Auburn University and a Master of Divinity from Emory University. My Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology is from Argosy University. Before developing my private practice in 2001, I spent 15 years as a management consultant working in the area of organizational and team development.

My treatment specialties include relationship and intimacy issues, trauma recovery, anxiety and mood disorders. Additionally, I work with issues of spirituality in the therapeutic process that honors the beliefs and values unique to each client.

I am a member of the Licensed Professional Counselor‘s Association of Georgia.
